Over the past few years, Ushatava has developed a tradition of bringing the most memorable silhouettes and wardrobe items from one line to another, thereby establishing a connection between them. The flat cap first appeared in the I Am That I Am collection of the Research FW24/25 line. In that collection, Nino Shamatava, Creative Director of Ushatava, reflected a lot on family and national roots. As a result, several Georgian items appeared in the collection, and the flat cap was one of them. To unlock the everyday potential of this headwear piece, it was necessary to simplify its design. The cap retained its shape and double visor but noticeably decreased in size. For the regular Garderobe line, we made it in dense ribbed suiting fabric and added lining.
